If you haven't read my rants about advertising and ad blockers, you should. Rarely does an ad convince me ever to buy something, but recently something managed to get around the ad blocks and filters to appear in front of me, and I screamed out "Take My Money!!!" Yeah. They got me. They got me really good. I blame Dan Shapiro. A couple of years ago, he created a game called Robot Turtles, which was the the most-backed board game in Kickstarter history. I backed it, and my kids have really enjoyed playing it. So then a couple of months ago Dan contacts me and says, "hey, look what I'm working on now." OK. It took mere milliseconds to realize that I must have one. So I took the plunge and pre-ordered one. Then Dan kindly sent me a referral link, which discounts the pre-order price of the Glowforge by $100 for anyone else who is interested: http://glowforge.com/referred/?kid=rLfVuk - (use this link to save $100)
There's also a longish (22 minute) review here from the guys at Tested. Well worth watching:
