The Reed Awards are described as "the most exacting award in the political campaign industry. In order to earn Finalist status, entries have to clear an extraordinarily high bar because it's from that field of exceptional work that Reed Winners are chosen."
My entry into the 2025 Reed Awards is a 60-second campaign ad for Michelle Higgs, who ran for State Representative for Indiana House District 60 in the 2024 General Election.
The ad is themed around the Netflix TV Show "Stranger Things" and depicts the supermajority legislature in the Indiana Statehouse as the "Upside Down," noting that Indiana was recently ranked 50th in relative overall growth and 49th in quality of life.
Reed Award Winners will be announced at the 2025 Reed Awards & Conference on March 20 & 21 in Austin, TX. Following the Reed Award ceremony, winners will be published on the Campaigns & Elections website.
